Offering A Combined Learning Class: The Art of Painting as a Meditation: Acrylic Medium on Canvas. We will connect with our inner abilities and Creation to prepare for our painting through meditation. Nichole will lead guided meditations and energy exercises and will encourage all to join in creating the meditation and energy practices. This course will challenge you to rest your logical mind and paint from your heart and soul. Let’s discover together what it is, to dive in heart first to the passion of Creation with a paintbrush in hand.

For July we will focus on Spiritual Service, creating through being. Following our guidance to help all souls on Earth at this time.

For the first 30mins of class-Meditation and Energy Building Practice, the duration of meditation or painting is not set in stone, the class will naturally create its own schedule.

Next 1hr and a half: Painting exercises. Depending on the classes experience with painting the exercises will vary. I am inviting you to approach life and painting from a spiritual and open perspective allowing everyone to feel comfortable exploring the art of their soul's expression through our chosen medium. We will not be critiquing each others art at all, however everyone is encouraged to give insight when appropriate. I will share painting techniques: utilization of paintbrush types practicing the different strokes, layering, blending with acrylic, how to construct basic background and foreground. Possible in class exercise might be painting the aura of a friend, family member or pet.

Class Fee: $50.00 –bring your own paint and canvases One Time Class - $15.00- 10.00 or donation of choice.

Supplies: All students are asked to bring some form of palette (old plate, muffin pan (good for taking paint home to continue work), store bought, any kind). I will provide some paints and brushes for in class use. Please return the paintbrushes at the end of the 4

week session.

Canvases: We will work small to big. For weeks 1 and 2 starting around 12 x 14 size or smaller and scaling up. I recommend going to goodwill and recycling a canvas before buying a new one. For Wk 3 canvas of 20 x 16 and your choice size for Wk 4.

Drop-Ins can purchase a canvas from me for $4.00 - $10.00 varied sizes.

Dates and Time: July 9th -30th every Saturday

4:30pm - 6:30pm

Keep in mind this class will be both indoor and outdoor so our goal is to be done before sunset. Private Tutoring is also an option. I work with children and adults. Previously a school teacher for three years ages 4-16.

Location: Nu’uanu area. Indoor/Outdoor Painting depending on size of class. We like to travel to great inspiring locations. Also open to suggestions of other locations.

(If you have a substantially low income you may qualify for a tuition waiver)
